Software Description*: Netop is device management software that has the potential to ensure that teachers are more adequately monitoring student use. It communicates with Google Classroom so their is no need for teachers/students to enter/re-enter classroom codes. It is much more user friendly than Lanschool and cuts down on the lag time when communicating with students. As it stands now I have the majority of teachers telling me that our current system, Lanschool, is not reliable and/or convenient enough for consistent use in the classroom. Lanschool was/is great for devices with Ethernet connections. It clearly cannot keep up with our wireless environment. I am not asking for a district wide adoption. However, I would like to be able to pilot this at one of my schools.
