Mathematica
Mathematical software used to generate visual images and animations of mathematical models, solve differential equations, and quickly solve complex algebraic equations
https://user.wolfram.com/portal/myProducts.html
Purchased an education license in the 2015-2016 school year
I use it to solve and model linear and non-linear partial differential equations, test mathematical models before designing experiments, and create animations of phenomena. This becomes beneficial when we encounter problems that cannot be solved by hand (ex. the simple pendulum)
