Purpose / Use / Notes*: Pixton is a comic creation platform that allows students to tell write and tell stories or information in a creative way. Some examples include creating a summary in comic form or creating a continuation of a story with a different point of view. Additionally, the format and creative tools are very engaging for students and allow them to learn more about digital story telling. For elementary schools they have lessons that align with our Into Reading programs through HMH. You can search Pixton for lesson connections to specific units and lessons from our reading program. There is an option to create student accounts using pseudonyms. This allows for students to have access to the program without sharing student data.
