Microsoft MakeCode Arcade is a free, open source platform and code editor for creating engaging computer science learning experiences that support a progression path into real-world programming.

Microsoft MakeCode Arcade is used in the junior high and high school computer science classes with its online editor to create programs in the emulator that are transferrable to physical devices, such as the micro:bit.
Students can use it without logging in, but logging in with district Microsoft student accounts allows them to save their projects online.
