Google Expeditions
With the Expeditions app, classrooms have no boundaries
With VR and AR, teachers are no longer limited by the space of the classroom. VR lets you explore the world virtually while AR brings abstract concepts to life—allowing teachers to guide students through collections of 360° scenes and 3D objects, pointing out interesting sites and artifacts along the way.
In most cases, only the augmented reality would be used, unless a teacher recieved the equipment to also utilize the VR.

Google Expedition can bring the world into your classroom and bring abstract concepts to life. Augmented reality would place, for instance, a compound machine in the classroom for students to explore. This video explains better than I am able: https://edu.google.com/products/vr-ar/expeditions/?modal_active=modal-video--DYqlaMWTVg
As far as I can tell, there is no login required for the student. The teacher sets up the augmented reality markers in the classroom, and the students use the app to bring the objects to life.

Granite looked at this previously and this program requires a "rogue" wireless in order to operate correctly. For this reason Information Systems did not approve it. Turning it down for this reason. Would love to use in our system, but it doesn't provide the kind of security we require.
