Gimkit
Gimkit is a classroom game-show where students compete against each other by answering questions and earning fake currency. There are a variety of games that can be played where students use their currency to boost their overall score. Games can be played live in class or can be assigned as independent practice. When answering questions, students receive immediate feedback which allows them to know whether or not they're solving problems correctly.

The purpose of this website is to give students an opportunity to practice various skills in math. This practice will be given before assignments and assessments. Students get immediate feedback on whether or not they are doing the problem correctly. The website also has a game aspect to it that has helped me to engage students who I have previously struggled to engage in lessons. Students do not create accounts or share any personal information with the website since they won't be assigned homework on it. I only plan on using it during class. They only join with a class code and their first name.
