As I was prepping for an opening assignment for my students, I discovered that an extension that I need to complete the task, Bitmoji, is blocked on our chromebooks/wireless. However, it is NOT blocked on the pc/wired, technology, but we no longer have access to wired computer labs at our school so need to rely on chormebooks. Several of us in the English department would like to have our students compete this assignment - a virtual locker that requires the Bitmoji extension - but they will be unable to do so without access to this app on their chromebooks. The assignment asks that students introduce themselves using this activity and create a Bitmoji of themselves which they will share with me and their classmates. In addition, they include words and pictures showing what is important to them and overall showcasing who they are and what they believe. In addition, they will complete a writing assingment about themselves for their writing portfolio. Thus, having access to the app will be very beneficial.
Students create their own personal logins with an email and password. They will be responsible for remembering their information. In addition, many of them probabl already have an account, so all they need is access on the wireless.

This isn't curriculum oriented, but having access to the app would be helpful for teachers using this Chrome extension on wireless.
