CogAT Test Form 7
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a multiple-choice K-12 assessment that measures reasoning skills with different types of verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal questions. The CogAT is a group-administered aptitude test that we give for our Gifted and Talented testing program. (Advanced Learning Program)
To use for identifying our high ability student for the Advanced Learning Program.
The login is put on the student's computer by the IT department each year. Data is uploaded each year to Riverside by our IT department.
Does not really apply to the state standards. It is used for identification of high ability students by providing measures in three separate cognitive domains to provide a more comprehensive perspective on a student’s reasoning abilities
